 You’re just steps away from one of the most iconic parks in the U.S. With over 300 miles of trails, this is hiking, wildlife-watching, scenic drives (like Trail Ridge Road), alpine lakes, and more.  

 A scenic in-town option: walk or bike the 3.75 mi loop around Lake Estes. It connects to the downtown Riverwalk and offers peaceful lake views, wildlife, and a relaxing stroll. 

 Ride the tram up Prospect Mountain for panoramic mountain and valley views. At the summit, enjoy short hikes or simply take in the scenery.  

 Discover the charm of local shops, galleries, cafés, and restaurants along Elkhorn and Moraine Avenues. You’ll find art, souvenirs, local eats, and mountain-town ambiance.

 Enjoy guided horseback rides through beautiful terrain. In some seasons, hayrides with fireside s’mores are available — a cozy romantic option.  

 Take the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, one of Colorado’s classic drives. It starts in Estes Park and passes through beautiful montane terrain, stops and vistas.
